Convenient user management for the engineering environment and projects
User management in the engineering environment enables efficient and convenient management of rights for all system users. While the rights for runtime and operator systems are managed in the OperatorManager, user management provides a clear separation between global rights for the engineering environment and project-specific rights.
Predefined templates for typical user profiles
Predefined user profiles (templates) are available for quick and error-free assignment of rights. Typical roles such as service, guest, engineer or administrator can be assigned using drag-and-drop. It is also possible to simply transfer individual or multiple rights from one user to another.
Unlimited flexibility
Any number of templates and users can be created. The rights of each user are clearly visible at all times. Export and import in XML format enables simple user management data exchange and backup.
Security through 2-component login
Access to the engineering environment is via a secure user login with password (2-component authorization). User management automatically assigns the defined permissions for libraries and projects.
Detailed rights management and traceability
The modification options for project parts are clearly regulated and support compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA (21 CFR Part 11) and GAMP 5. Access rights are differentiated for display, edit, enable, confirm and download.
Seamless documentation using ChangeControl
All relevant actions such as login, logout and changes are logged in detail by integrated ChangeControl reports. This ensures complete tracking and documentation of all user activities at all times.
